Orenburgskaya Oblast is a federal subject of Russia, perched on the east and west slope at the southern part of South Urals. It covers the land of 124, 000 square meters and is home to 2, 165, 000 people. Orenburgskaya Oblast is adjacent to Kazakhstan in the south. Steels, copper smelting, nickel smelting, big machines, agricultural machinery manufacturing, natural gas& petroleum exploration are the primary industries here. Its climate is obviously continental with an annual lowest temperature as minus 40 degrees centigrade. However, KOSUN' s solids control system did not fail the expectations and surmounted another terrible challenge brought about by the alpine climate there.

Orenburgskaya Oblast Oilfield Project primarily involves two sets of 50DB drilling machines and a set of 70DB drilling machine, the main drilling rig that was made by RG PETRO-MACHINERY (GROUP) CO. , LTD. as well as the solids purification system which was designed and manufactured by KOSUN. As required by Orenburgskaya Oblast Drilling Company, KOSUN' s Arctic Solids Control System used in this project has included the following parts: linear motion shaker, centrifuge, desander, desilter, mud cleaner, standardized circuit in drilling unit, diesel tank, water tank, MCC house, etc. KOSUN' s technicians were responsible for the assembly, debugging of the solids control system and its peripheral matched equipment, and worked together with drilling company on the drilling work of the first well in this project. Besides, they also held training classes about the operation, maintenance and reparation of equipment.
