The working principle of the cuttings drying machine: the cuttings fall from the top of the cuttings drying machine into the slurry inlet funnel into the internal separation area. With the high-speed rotation of the inner cone rotating body, the rotating body generates a large centrifugal force (separation factor 360) . Due to the difference in gravity between the liquid phase and the solid phase, the mud attached to the cuttings will pass through the screen, while the solid phase will remain inside the screen. The liquid phase will drain from the manifold and the dry solid phase will drain from the bottom of the unit.
